It was a successful forum! Thank you so much to everyone who attended the forum, the speakers, the keynote, the people who shared their views, and who held and participated in ceremonies. Purpose: This forum bridged people’s knowledge of water through sharing of indigenous ways of knowing, research presentations and demonstrations of practical applications. The purpose of the forum was to make recommendations for action-oriented strategies to achieve safe drinking water in First Nations communities. The forum strengthened research relationships for collaborative projects to advance management and policies for improved drinking water.
Stream 1: Drinking water treatment processes and policies, promotion of safe drinking water

Stream 2: Challenges, successes, priorities and directives for drinking water on First Nations lands
Invitees: First Nations organizations, community members, academics, students, non-profit organizations and industry.
